Episode 5 - How to polish an opal to bring out shine and luster 

Extra tips and key points:

- Keep pad wet when polishing, if it dries out it can cause the stone to get burn marks. But, you don't want the pad too wet, you want the polishing compound to turn into a paste.

- We use a polishing compound called Lapsa, to apply Lapsa, wet your opal with a spray bottle, then dip into the compound. 

- Keep moving the opal, if you keep it one spot it can dry up and cause the stone to burn
